Welcome to FilamentFibre — a collection of colour, pattern and inspiration shaped by the places we discover and the experiences we cherish. Inspired by travel and the joy of living, each design brings together a kaleidoscope of colour to celebrate the beauty found in everyday moments. My love of fabric began in my early teenage years, when I was taught to hand-stitch quilts and appliqué fabrics. Those early lessons sparked a lifelong fascination with fabric — not only with colour and pattern, but with the way different fabrics feel, move and flow. At high school, I took sewing-machine classes, where I sewed a vest, pyjamas and award winning white-striped linen dress pants. While sewing has always been part of my creative journey, quilting has remained my true passion. These days, my hands have swapped some of the hand-stitching for the hum of a sewing machine, but my love for fabric, colour and pattern has only grown. FilamentFibre is a reflection of that journey — bringing together my love of textiles, quilting, travel and colour to create designs that celebrate the stories, places and moments that inspire us.
